The free sample. You can download our free sample without giving us your name, email or age.

This website and the download. This site is hosted on Google Sites, and the sample file is stored on Google Drive. Like any website host, Google automatically receives basic technical information when you visit or download, such as your IP address and browser type, and may use cookies needed to run and secure the site. Google handles this under its own Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. We don't add analytics or advertising tools, and we don't get a list of who visits or downloads.

Our email list. Our email update list is optional. You must be 18 or older to join, so please don't subscribe if you're under 18. If you join, we collect your email address. After you sign up, Kit, our email service, sends you a confirmation email. You're only added to the list after you click the link in it to confirm.

The sign-up form also asks you to confirm that you're 18 or older. You can't join without confirming, and we keep a record of your answer. Our email service also records the date, time and technical details of your sign-up (such as IP address) and basic email activity, such as whether an email was delivered or opened and which links were clicked. We use this to send you updates about LexiPress books and free learning resources, and to see which updates are useful. We email you because you asked us to (your consent), and you can withdraw it anytime.

Who handles your details. Kit (kit.com), our email service, stores your details and sends our emails for us, under a data processing agreement that limits Kit to acting on our instructions (https://kit.com/dpa). Kit is based in the United States. If you email us, your message is stored in our Gmail inbox (Google). We never sell or rent your details, or share them with anyone for their own use. We'd only disclose them if the law requires it.

How long we keep it. We keep your details while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and keep only what's needed to make sure we don't email you again. Ask us and we'll delete your details completely.

Under 18s. If we learn that someone under 18 has joined our list, we'll delete their details. Parents or guardians can email us to ask.

Your choices. Unsubscribe anytime with the link at the bottom of every email. You can also email us to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, and we'll reply within 30 days. If you live in the UK or EU, you also have the right to object to or restrict our use of your details, to get a copy of them, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Do Not Track and other websites. We don't track visitors across other websites, so we don't change anything when your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal. Google, as our site host, may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites under its own privacy policy.

Changes. If we change this page, we'll update the date above. If a change affects how we use your email, we'll tell subscribers by email first.
